Solal TMG (Trimethylglycine/Betaine) is a nutrient which plays an important role in the health of the cardiovascular system. TMG works closely with other nutrients such as SAMe, natural folate, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 to reduce homocysteine levels in the bloodstream. However, research is unclear whether homocysteine is a cause of cardiovascular disease, or if it is a marker (effect) of existing cardiovascular disease. Studies have shown that TMG may help protect against fatty deposits in the liver, which can occur from chronic alcohol use, protein malnutrition, obesity, poorly controlled diabetes, and other causes. TMG is a mood modifier and can therefore have a positive effect on mood by relaxing the mind. Vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and natural folate help effectively break down homocysteine.
TMG functions in humans as an osmolyte to protect cells under stress and as a methyl-group donor. Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and folic acid are involved in the methionine cycle.
How to Use:
