Solal Olive Leaf Extract contains an antioxidant known as oleuropein which has antibacterial, antiviral and antiparasitic effects. Oleuropein is also useful in the management of metabolic syndrome, also known as syndrome X, characterised by high blood sugar, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and weight gain.
Studies indicate olive leaf extract strongly reduced etoposide-induced oxidative stress.
