• Oral Contraceptives, Anti-Depressants, Anti-Convulsant or Methotrexate. A 3rd generation Folate that does not need to be broken down by the body through a complex enzymatic metabolic process like conventional synthetic Folic Acid.
• This means that it is ready to be used by the body immediately. It is 7 x more bioavailable than synthetic Folic Acid.
• Folate is essential during pregnancy as it helps prevent Neural Tube Defects such as Spina Bifida and Cleft Palate. The highest risk for Neural Tube Defects occurs between the 21st and 28th day after conception when the embryonic neural tube closes.
• This is in the first month of pregnancy, often before a woman even knows that she is pregnant. Therefore, one should start supplementing with Folate at least 2 to 3 months prior to falling pregnant as per the World Health Organisation’s Guidelines.

How to Use:

• Take one Peach Folate Tablet in the morning with breakfast or as prescribed by your Healthcare Professional.
