SOLAL Double Vitamin C capsules contain ascorbic acid in both the water-soluble and fat-soluble forms, namely as calcium ascorbate and ascorbyl palmitate respectively. Ascorbyl palmitate is a fat-soluble form of ascorbic acid prepared from ascorbic acid with palmitic acid. Calcium ascorbate is freely soluble in water. The combination of fat-soluble and water-soluble ascorbic acid allows for better retention by the body and shows marked synergy.

How to Use:

Adults and children 9 years and older:
Take 3 capsules daily with or after meals.

Children 4 – 8 years of age:
Take 1 capsule daily with or after meals.

When to Use:

Morning, Midday and Evening

Interactions

Warfarin: Ascorbic acid may interfere with the blood thinning effects of warfarin and should be used with caution.
Oestrogens: Oral contraceptives and hormone replacement therapy may increase oestrogen levels and decrease the effects of ascorbic acid in the body.
