Vitamin K2 is required for the gamma-carboxylation of glutamate in certain proteins. With respect to bone metabolism, three such proteins include osteocalcin, matrix GLa protein, and periostin. Overall, studies suggest that vitamin K2 supplements may increase bone mineral density and bone strength.

How to Use:

Adults:
Take 1 capsule daily after food.

Interactions

Oral anticoagulants: Vitamin K antagonises the effects of oral anticoagulants such as warfarin. Individuals taking warfarin should consult their healthcare practitioners prior to use.
